Nice pub which usually has space. The food is nice, some portions are quite small for the price you pay (e.g. the tacos). The burgers used to be our favourite but they changed them back in April so not quite as good as before but still very enjoyable. Atmosphere is always very pleasant and attentive staff.
Great place for drinks, that's for sure. Love the Basquiat art style. Not a lot of vegan options on the menu, but they did have some vegan street food bites for sharing. Tacos were especially nice. Tempeh sate not bad either. Tapioca based krupuk looked colorful. Staff is super friendly, hard working and attentive.
We had some delicious drinks at Bar Basquiat. The bar has a great vibe and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered different cocktails throughout the night and all of them were delicious we especially liked the espresso martini! Will for sure come back for a fun night out.
A cute little place with super helpful and friendly staff. I got the shiitake baguette and it really hit the spot. However it was a tad too spicy to fully enjoy each component. The coffee was also great and it came with a mini stroopwaffle!!!
We love this place! Street food from all over the world, so the menu changes from time to time. But there’ll be always hamburgers! The restaurant is in the middle of JavaStraat and what is called Indischebuurt, or the “Indian” neighborhood, which refers to its streets and buildings all having Indonesian names, and where the population is mostly that, and Turkish, and Syrian, and all kinds of immigrants, so the place is filled with shops, halal butchers, green grocers, cafes, etc. Anyway, Bar Basquiat is one of those hidden gems that you’ll be happy to have made the trip to oost.
Great atmosphere! Good healthy food too. Kind staff, recommend this place. Nice vegan options and the street food is indeed scrumptious. We ordered 4 dishes, big and small (vegan satay, delicious Vegan gyoza from Gyoza Goza, nachos and some fries) and it was more than enough for two.
